Phillip Edwards

Based in Surrey, England, Phillip is a photographer who specializes in both landscapes and seascapes. 

He's particularly drawn to images of the sea, and enjoy the challenge of trying to capture its constant restless motion, often through long exposure of two minutes or more. 

Trinity House, who operate lighthouses in England and Wales, have featured his pictures on both their website and in their calendars for 2016 and 2017. Other publications in which his work has appeared include Black and White Photography magazine, Surrey Life magazine and the Liverpool Echo.

In April 2017, he was awarded the Licentiate distinction from the Royal Photographic Society Phillip also received nominations in the global 11th and 13th Black and White Spider Awards, as well as being shortlisted in the 2019 Bird Photographer of the Year competition.
